Caroline Manzo Sues Bravo: Sexual Assault

Today’s breaking news from Hollywood straight to the United States brings another sexual assault case to light. According to the latest news, a castmate from ‘Housewives,’ Brandi Glanville, is accused of sexual assault on the ‘Ultimate Girls Trip.’ You may have heard various rumors on social media, but the true details might be unknown to you. To find out how, when, and where it happened, stay tuned for the details in this blog post.

Caroline Manzo from The Real Housewives of New Jersey is suing Bravo, the network behind the popular Housewives franchise. Manzo alleges that during the filming of Ultimate Girls Trip, fellow cast member Brandi Glanville, from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, sexually harassed her.

According to court documents, Manzo claims that Glanville’s inappropriate behavior was encouraged by production, who allegedly provided alcohol to the cast during filming in Morocco. The incident in question reportedly occurred on January 24, where Glanville, under the influence, forced herself on Manzo, kissing her without consent and engaging in disturbing behavior.

Manzo describes feeling distressed and scared during the encounter, even calling for help from inside a locked bathroom. Shockingly, the production crew continued to film rather than intervening. The lawsuit accuses Bravo of regularly providing alcohol to cast members and allowing sexual harassment to occur for the sake of ratings.

The legal action includes claims of negligence, sexual harassment, sex/gender discrimination, and sexual battery against Bravo, production, and showrunners. Manzo is seeking damages for anxiety, worry, embarrassment, humiliation, mental anguish, and emotional distress.

The lawsuit sheds light on the disturbing culture behind the scenes, where Manzo felt her traumatic experience was exploited for entertainment purposes. The legal battle raises questions about the responsibility of networks in ensuring a safe working environment for their cast members.

This isn’t the first time Bravo has faced legal issues related to the Housewives franchise. Last year, butler Marco Vega filed a lawsuit for sexual assault and harassment, and Leah McSweeney filed a discrimination complaint against Bravo, with a lawsuit reportedly imminent.

The reality TV industry is facing increased scrutiny as 80 reality stars, including Bethenny Frankel, accused the network of covering up sexual violence, condoning revenge porn, exploiting minors, and denying mental health treatment.

The lawsuit against Bravo by Caroline Manzo is a significant development that highlights the need for accountability and change within the reality TV industry.
